New project
I have finally joined Deviantart after seeing Cindy's post, and will participate in a contest hosted by http://semi-sweeties.deviantart.com/. Actually, I don't know if I'll end up participating, but for now, its like my new years resolution. The theme is picnic, so I made a picnic table and some hemp baskets : )
I still need to paint the basket, but I'm pretty excited that it actually looks like one!

Looks great so far, you really should continue with this project, either if you participate in that contest or not. But that table needs to be filled with your tasty food!

At first glance I thought that was an aerial shot of a real full size picnic table. What material have you used for the "planks"? The picnic basket looks really lifelike - (is that the correct word?) and I love the bananas! Do you mind saying what camera you are using - I can never seem to get closeups to come out in any decent detail.
