Mussels!
One of my favorite seafoods! I heard somewhere that you shouldn't eat them in certain months, and that the more orangish ones are "female".
These took too long to make, so probably won't make anymore~ too tired!

Anmitsu
I don't know if you are familiar with this dessert, but this is very popular in Japan. I like to have mine with green tea ice cream, so I made mine green tea + mochi balls + chestnut and azuki (red beans).

American Girl Food
I've been making a lot of 1:3 scale food lately, and I LOVE it! Although I keep having to go to the craft store for more clay, working in a different scale is so much fun.

Pasta Machine and Clay
I finally got a pasta machine (no more bulging right bicep!) since I have been getting orders for 1:3 scale. I felt like I was making food for Gulliver ... no, Paul Bunyan.
My little helpers~ they do all the clay mixing~ (yeah right, I wish!)
I also tidied/color coordinated my clay box (which is now a mess).

Projects
It's been a week since I've blogged! Here are some stuff that I've been making/keeping myself busy with.
short and sweet.
I made Mardi Gras Cake and Minnie Kitchen Pie for my American Girl customer, made some grapes, scones and Minnie Kitchen mix-n-match cupcakes.
I LOVE the pina colada cupcake. It's the one with the coconut frosting, pineapple slice and cherry topping.
I use polymer clay to make all my foods, and as you can see the American Girl 1:3 scale is HUGE (for me at least), so I got a pasta machine to knead my clay! YAY! no more arm falling off! Will update with that in a different post.

Whoopie Pies
Maru-chan: "Do you want a banany?"
Blair: "Uh..."
Maru-chan: "Okay, I give you whoopie pie"
Blair: "Deal"
I need to get Maruchan some new clothes. I personally want her to wear a cute long sleeve shirt with leggings to hide her ball joints.
