I made some elastic hair ties for my dolls too!

Still working...

Yup! I'm still working on the hobbit pantry! It's so hard to work on a project without a deadline. It does get a bit ridiculous when it's just sitting in the corner for over a year...but the flooring (is almost) done, and I do have a plan for the entrance.

Strawberries

I made chocolate covered strawberries for Valentines. Now that I think about it, strawberry season is quite long. I make a lot of strawberry minis for Valentines and Independence Day, so 6 months?

A customer wanted to make earrings out of them- did you know that my ears are not pierced? How uncommon is that? I remember wanting to pierce it so much when I was in 2nd-5th grade...now I really don't care (guess I'm getting old).

This is based from a cake I saw online, and the real one is frosted in roses. I guess the ruffle/ribbon/rose cakes are in style these days!

New project

I have finally joined Deviantart after seeing Cindy's post, and will participate in a contest hosted by http://semi-sweeties.deviantart.com/. Actually, I don't know if I'll end up participating, but for now, its like my new years resolution. The theme is picnic, so I made a picnic table and some hemp baskets : )

I still need to paint the basket, but I'm pretty excited that it actually looks like one!
