New Cakes in the Shop

I wanted to share some (old but new) cakes I made over the weekend.

This is a slightly taller version of my previous hello kitty rainbow cake.

Unsliced carrot cake

Citrus cake topped with orange slices- perfect for a summer picnic!

French Desserts in 1:3 scale

 I made some eclairs and macarons for my American girl doll Saige.

Pistachio is her favorite flavor! (get crackin')

Each macaron measures 5/8" in diameter and eclairs are 2" long.

New Project: Hobbit Pantry

I am working on a new project- the hobbit pantry. I don't know how long it's going to take, but as of now the deadline is by the end of the year!

This is what I'm trying to make.

I have set up the roombox and added some shelves I made.

I used coffee to stain my balsawood- it takes forever, therefore not recommended, but it does smell gooooood!

Antipasto Platter

I finally made an antipasto platter in 1:6 scale. Boy, that took a long time!

I made a 1:48 scale candy shelf for one of my customers. Everytime I accept a 1:48 commission I kick myself afterwards, but the feeling of accomplishment is 48 times greater!
