Lemon Wedges!

Today I made lemon wedges...part of a custom order, and it was so much fun! I've made lemon canes before but this is the first time I made wedges. The one that is squished is done on purpose~ it's supposed to be a squeezed lemon!

Mango & Cherry Desserts

I made mango tarts and cherry cheesecakes. But since my favorite cheesecake is marbled, I tried to make one also. And my work for the day shot: I think I've had enough sweets...off to making cookies!

Tiramisu

Thank you everyone for the great tips and advices! I will keep everything in mind :)

Today I made some tiramisu~
Now I have five in my petits fours.
I also enjoyed making the blueberry mousse so much that I made bigger ones. I think I enjoyed it so much that I'm making cherry mousse and mango mousse tomorrow ;)

Petits fours

This is what I've been making for the past 3 days. One a day!

and a question to all the miniaturists out there...Do you use flash when taking pictures of your minis? I definitely need to get a lightbox, but not until I move. My pictures are so dark even in daylight! Help!!

Macarons

Finally I get to show you the macarons I've been working on for the past 3 days!


My eyes! o.o And remember my custom order for macarons? My client wasn't so excited about the shape so after much contemplation I found out that she wanted macaroons and not macarons! So I will be making some of those later in the week~

Custom Order!

I've been busy with some custom orders :) I might as well open up a flower shop since now I know how to make long stem roses!

I also made some macarons and a special kind of iris- "ashes of roses"

Long stem Roses

Finally! The roses are done and I was stupid enough to not take a picture of it with my little dime.... But I can tell you that the whole thing is about 1 inch! And I even went to the market today and took a dozen of roses from the flower section and took it to where the rulers were displayed, and measured it :) Kinda felt like a genius for being so slick.

Summer Dessert and Halloween Cake

I love making dessert with strawberries and blueberries! Can you tell? Haha...I made the halloween cake and it literally took FOREVER! Don't do it!! Anyway, have a great weekend!

Truffles

I finally made another truffle tower with my new flavor-strawberry truffle.

I also made some truffle bowls


and finally, I have decided to auction my smaller rose bowl on ebay (starting at 99 cents!). This is really exciting for me, since I will get to see what this is worth! But how embarassing would it be if nobody bid on it :P

I made some White and Dark Chocolate Cake topped with shaved chocolate.

More roses

Another variation of my rose arrangements-I used a bowl instead of a pot! I'm thinking of making a rose ball next time but making the roses are straining my eyes O.O

My favorite work so far!

Pot of roses! Okay, so I was an aspiring food artist, but after seeing beautiful roses at the flower shop one day, I had to create one for myself. I am very happy with the outcome :) Next time I'll make a bowl of roses and with more colors!

Cookies and Cake

I made some cookies last night-reeses pieces, christmas m&ms, and chocolate chip!

and I finally completed my rose cake. Why is it so hard to work with white clay?? I always get little pieces of dust and lint caught up in the mix...Next time I'll make a chocolate rose cake!

Turkey! or Chicken?

I finally finally made my first turkey/chicken oven-baked poultry. I'm still waiting for my plates to come, so for now, it will rest on the table...

Roast Beef Sandwiches

I finally took pictures of my roast beef sandwiches! I forgot to put in onions, but I remembered the black olives!

Colored Pencils

Finally finished my colored pencils! But I'm still experimenting with more colors, so I'll keep you posted!

Red Velvet Cake and #2 pencils

Since its berry season, I decided to decorate them with strawberries and blueberries. And they are my favorite polymer clay fruits at this moment ;)


This took me forever to make! I had to paint, cut, sharpen and paint again. The ends have the lead marks as well!

S'mores and Bread

I made my very first prep board of s'mores and experimented with different kinds of breads! It was so fun making the s'mores, that I actually took a break and made some real s'mores for myself!

Truffle Tower

It took me forever to make the small truffles, but I had a great time assembling the tower! Next time I will do a another version with pink truffles.
